More useful than another message thread
Horse care instructions are often spread between messages, paper notes and memory. That makes it difficult to know which version is current, particularly when several people share responsibility.
A digital care plan gives the owner one structured place to maintain the routine and gives the authorised carer a consistent view of what they need to do.
Private access for the people doing the care
The full care plan is not placed on the public NFC profile. It is available only after sign-in to an account that has active access for that horse. The owner can set an access period and revoke access when the handover ends.
Equiscense staff access is separated again, showing routine-care information only for horses actively assigned to Equiscense care.
Keep important changes visible
When relevant care information changes, an active carer can be shown what changed before continuing to the care guide. Their acknowledgement is recorded separately, helping the owner distinguish an update from an unread message.
The plan still relies on accurate owner-supplied information and sensible professional judgement. Urgent welfare concerns should always be escalated appropriately.
